why should we raise the drinking age?

Too many 21 - 25 year olds remain irresponsible about their drinking thinking that "I am legal now" also this way it would make it harder for underage drinkers to obtain alcohol.

Another reason I support raising the age to 25 is that most people are done with college by then.

I drink alcohol (mostly on the weekends) but a lot of college students don't know how to control themselves, and college, like any other level of schooling, is a place to learn and improve our futures, not drink them down the drain.

They should raise the drinking age because some 18+ take it forgranted and start getting up to mischeif. Only in the house and infront of parent/s should an 18+ be able to drink. They should be able to drink on their own and in pubs etc at about 21 or 22.

There are none. 18 is the age of legal majority, at 18 the government has no business telling people what they can put into their bodies.

Well if you're writing a one sided paper-that's a very weak paper. It shouldn't be. It should be lowered. 18 year olds are considered adults, so they should be given the right to drink.

If I can be drafted to fight for this country, I sure as hell should be able to drink.

Do what ever you want raise it to 40 and kids will still get their hands on it one way or another.. its the dirty truth im afraid!
