Roll up,roll up , again?

To see the next snout in the trough. Yet another free loader enters the equation as we now read that the Commons Speaker Michael Martin and his wife have taken an £8,000 four day trip at taxpayers' expense to Dubai.Don't these people have any shame? Many people over here are losing jobs and houses and struggle to earn enough money for any type of holiday yet those like Martin are quite happy to use our money for their little jaunts.

How do you feel about your taxes being spent in this way ?

Update:

Hi folks, I am not surprised that this is touching a raw nerve with some of you.

And to think that this is the guy who wanted to block the publication of details of MPs £5,000,000 a year travel expenses. A man who has in the past been described as a sticky-fingered old booby, a thicko prone to blunders. Whose wife spent £4,000 on taxi fares. He spent £20,000 of taxpayer’s money in 2007 on lawyers to challenge negative newspaper stories. In March 2008 the refurbishment of his house has cost taxpayers £1,700,000. Mr Martin and his wife travelled business class to the UAE while two members of his entourage flew standard class, (that’s about right!). The four-day trip was described as an “official visit to foster links between the UK and UAE”. One Tory MP summed it up well when he said, “Westminster stinks, and part of the rot is MPs and their expenses, and if you had a Speaker who was up to the job of being Speaker, he would have called time on this nonsense”.

It makes me bloody angry when i keep hearing all these stories of how M.P's are just blatantly abusing tax payers money with second mortgages, redecorating houses, and having jolly jaunts abroad, then come back with the usual excuse "but its within the rules" well of course it's in the rules because you were the ones that made the rules up so you don't have to justify spending ludicrous amounts of money of unnecessary frivolities that most of the rest of the nation cannot afford.

But in a sense we are partly to blame ourselves, as we are the ones who let them get away with it, could you imagine if people got up in arms about this, and im sorry i can see sometimes why people take to protesting in the streets, its not always the best away, but it seems like their is no other, after all we are stuck with this shower for at least another 14 months

America is no different. Nancy Pelosi works 3 days a week in DC then gets in a 757 and flies to San Francisco for her 4 day weekend. The fuel alone cost $120,000 each week. All this while we are losing our jobs our homes and our way of life. These types of people are the worst of what humanity has to offer.

Taxes are being wasted and the government officials are living large. Our president just had a pizza guy fly in on a jet from a thousand miles away for a pizza party while we have citizens being held by "pirates" and in danger of being beheaded and he's having a pizza party. The nerve of these people is amazing!

I would not mind so much if it was truly on parliamentary business. I find it increasingly irritating that these people never seem to stay in a Travelogue or similar which are more than adequate to get your head down in.

I do not mind if they go somewhere on parliamentary business and stay on for a couple of days at their own expense, but they seem to find parliamentary business in the most luxurious of places and claim they are researching surely if they are serious a couple of nights in a tin hut shanty town would teach them one heck of a lot more

While this little piggy was getting his jolly another certain lady was taking his place. This one is a real gem, as she owns homes around the world, yet still finds it necessary to claim £23k a year for a place she rents out. Who is responsible I hear you ask, look no further than the swine who voted for this ie themselves. They were only following the rules the same rules that they set up for their own greed.

    KICK EM OUT NOW!

The people of Britain need to take back power. Parliament should be converted into a giant public toilet. because, frankly, Sh*t is all that ever comes out of it. Vote for the British national party. get your country back from these parasites.
