Parking in the work place ?

Not content with putting many thousands out of work, this government now proposes that those left in work will pay up to £185 a year for the privilege of parking at their work place, the fee to rise to well over £300 in 5 years.

What next ? A corn tax or a window tax, or perhaps a tax on the air you breathe ? Surely we ought to be more like the French and say enough is enough !!

Once again - this PROVES BEYOND DOUBT that Labour are totally out of touch with reality and the people (nutcases) that voted them into power must take the blame.

Who is it going to hit most - the low - medium paid workers that are the backbone of this country.

It is time for this shower of cretins to be removed from office and YOU, ALL OF YOU, should now get onto your local or nearest Labour MP and tell him to go.

They are the scum of politics

And now you've got Nottingham City Council trying to figure out why so many firms are on about upping sticks and moving out.

Just the sort of hare brained, money spinning racket to introduce in the middle of a recession with so many industrial units lying empty around the country.

It makes you wonder what sort of agenda these lobotomised muppets are actually working to.

I agree - we need to fight back - why should we pay the government for parking on land owned by the company that is in effect private property?

It's disgusting and the sooner we develop and attitude like other countries and 'raise 2 fingers' at this lot the better

I would be happy to start a revoultion against them if anyone can tell me how?

New McLabour and the totally useless Gorgon Brown have taxed and spent our wad for the last ten years - now we have this ridiculous suggestion - Oh and not forgetting the 'Window view' tax.

Meanwhile these greedy creeps are still getting round the Expenses row - the Dole Queue is the only remedy for them.

Totally agree. The working person is taxed to the hilt as it is. As I understand it with all the taxes and charges we pay, Britain is the highest taxed in Europe!

Ha ha. you couldn't make it up could you.....and do you know whats even funnier......the British people will simply pay it, and bend over for the next shafting. The British are the most servile people in the world.

Its all hypothetical because Labour are never going to win the Election. This will simply be another nail in their coffin!

Yes OK .. The thinking probably is,, well you have a job anyway to need to park there,, so you have to afford it .. second it's a ploy to get people to stop using cars to get to work,, use public transport or work much nearer home so you can walk or cycle , Parking areas are all wasted spaces that could be used more productively .
