How bad is it for health to live right on busy road?

I live right on a very busy road during (the day) not so bad during night. Lots of cars, lorrys etc.... I love the house it is perfect for us, have got used to the noise as well. But am just worried about how bad it is for us especially my one year old. Read about asthma excema, heart disease and am thinking shall I move? When really I don't want to. Does anyone know?

There ar millions like yourself as main rds were considered as an advantage years ago for commuting, but its just matter of choice but every one can't live remote from the main rd.if you choose to live in the countryside that also has a down side you will have to contend with untreated rds in the winter (experienced)
