What are people from Buffalo, New York like?

Are they like New Yorkers? (The city I mean) I've lived in NYC all my life, never fit in, have a lot of problems with the city and want to find my "place in the world" and was wondering about Buffalo.

Update:

And what's the adjective? ..Buffaloan?

Update 2:

I'm not sure about that Azrael, go about a mile from the city in any direction and you're in a totally different setting, you might on the beach, in the ocean, in the country or in a different state or one of their towns or suburbs.. And different settings usually mena different cultures, but I don't know for sure..

Update 3:

For instance, Texans aren't all the same, usually people think of them as angry, gun-toting hicks, but I've come to know some very kind, pleasant, well-educated Texans.

We're known as 'the city of good neighbors' for a reason :) We all love to rag on the city, but deep down we are proud and make it known that we are from Buffalo. A lot of community and heritage events.... the taste of Buffalo is the second largest in the country... 3rd largest New Years ball drop in the country... 3rd largest county fair in country.... largest dyngus day festival(its popular here), the Italian festival... juneteenth..... all popular events here.

The correct term would be Buffalonians :)

Look elsewhere. New Yorkers are New Yorkers. Typical unfriendly, uppity, self righteous morons. Try Houston or Dallas.People here are REAL !!
