Dell Studio 1555 or Sony Vaio VGN-NW21SF?
What should I choose between a Studio 1555 that has the following configuration:
15.6" Widescreen High Definition (1366X768) WLED with TrueLife, 2.0 MP webcam, Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 (2.4GHz, 1066MHz, 3MB), RAM 2*2GB DDR 800MHz, HDD 320GB 5400rpm, Video 512MB Ati Mobility RADEON HD4570, Wireless 1397, Dell Bluetooth 370 Card, Free Dos, Black, NBD
and a Sony Vaio VGN-NW21SF that has:
Processor - Type: Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 , Memory: 4096 MB , Graphics chip: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 , Screen - Size: 15.5 inch , Screen - Resolution: 1366x768 , Hard disk - Capacity: 500 GB , Operating system: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium ?

These are fairly similar laptops. My answer would sway mostly by price. By looking at the specs, I'd choose Dell 1555 for the better processor. The Sony's specs are much missing though...
What are you using the computer for?
Dells also tend to be more reliable and sturdy according to Cnet stats

It looks like your looking at around 700-900 dollars, hard to tell from a custom configuration, so personally I would choose a Toshiba Satellite T135-S1310. For a multimedia laptop, you may want to invest in a Qosmio. It is a little more expensive though.

Dell XPS 17 is a top efficiency gaming pc and I tremendously suggest it over the Sony one. I have not met the sony but and are not able to supply feedback approximately it. Although the Dell one is extra costly, it have a higher importance for cash.
