I applied ED to one college, but listed my counselor for two other, so when he sent the recommendation, three schools received it, I guess (my counselor says that on his list, all of my other schools show "Not Submitted").

If I submit my application now to another school and list him as a counselor, will his recommendation be automatically submitted, too? Or will he have to re-submit it? Is this the case with the teacher recommendations?

I'd like to get into WPI with a full scholarship; I'm an international student.

My SAT scores are:

640 Writing

650 Critical Reading

740 Math

SAT Subject Tests:

760 Math IIC

760 Italian

TOEFL iBT: 113 (out of 120).

My GPA is, until now, about 4 (in our grading level, a 9.81/10).

I haven't taken Honors, AP, IB, etc. classes, because I don't have the option to do so. But, as I have seen, some courses of ours are equivalent to Honors courses (for example, Calculus).

I have some extracurricular activities - I went to some olympiads, I am a Greenpeace and Save the Children volunteer etc.

Do you think I can get into WPI with a full scholarship in the early admission round?

A couple of days ago, I had my 18th birthday party. I wore pretty comfortable shoes, and I danced and jumped around a lot. The problem is that the next day, my right sole hurt, especially near my heel, and I felt numbness in the hallux (big toe). The numbness hasn't yet passed. It has never happened to me before. What could it be?

I have a swelling that doesn't hurt on my back. It's firm enough, but, one day, it broke and I could squeeze out a substance resembling blood. Still, it didn't heal and now it's back to its original size. What could it be?

I'd like to do a little RAM upgrade to my computer.

I currently have an Asus P5AD2-E Premium motherboard, an Intel Pentium 4 640 Prescott 3.2GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 and TwinMOS kit of 2x512 MB running in Dual Channel. The kit has a speed of 533Mhz and 4-4-4-12 latency.

I'd like to upgrade to 2 or 4 GB of RAM memory. What would you recommend me to buy? I wouldn't like to spend a lot of money.

In my motherboard's manual, it says that it is compatible with 533Mhz or 711Mhz Unbuffered RAM.

Would there be any problems if I let the 1 GB kit in dual channel and use another dual channel kit in parralel with it? Say, a dual channel kit with a frequency of 533 Mhz and a different latency.

I have slight issues with the following problem:

"The Kwik-Freez Appliance Co wants you to design a food freezer that will keep the freezing compartment at -5.00 C and will operate in a room at 20.0 C. The freezer is to make 5.40 kg of ice at 0 C , starting with water at 20.0 C."

The values are in degrees Centigrade. Could someone please explain how to solve it? The questions are:

Part A: Find the least possible amount of electrical energy needed to make this ice.

Part B: Find the smallest possible amount of heat expelled into the room.

I have the new 80 GB PS3 and I'd like to connect it to the Internet. Thing is, I don't have a router, so I tried to simply plug the Internet cable into it - I manually configured settings such as the IP address, DNS, subnet mask etc. and I set some settings to be automatically configured. When I try to test the connection, the IP check succeeds, but the connection check fails. Any solutions?

I've accidentally formatted my camera memory card and I would like to know if, by any chance, there would be a way to get the photos back. My camera is a Canon Powershot A 640 and my card is an SD A-Data 1 GB memory card.

I've bought Crysis and, when i start it, my computer reboots.

The issue is, i have a PC (not much) over the minimum requirements and i've also tried UT3 with which i experience the same thing. What's the problem? After it reboots, Windows says it has recovered from a serious error. What should i do? I think it has issues with the OS (Windows XP by the way, it's a licensed copy).
