Getting into Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI)?
I'd like to get into WPI with a full scholarship; I'm an international student.
My SAT scores are:
640 Writing
650 Critical Reading
740 Math
SAT Subject Tests:
760 Math IIC
760 Italian
TOEFL iBT: 113 (out of 120).
My GPA is, until now, about 4 (in our grading level, a 9.81/10).
I haven't taken Honors, AP, IB, etc. classes, because I don't have the option to do so. But, as I have seen, some courses of ours are equivalent to Honors courses (for example, Calculus).
I have some extracurricular activities - I went to some olympiads, I am a Greenpeace and Save the Children volunteer etc.
Do you think I can get into WPI with a full scholarship in the early admission round?
I've seen that they offer both International and Merit-based aid to students. What intrigued me is that they said they offer Merit-based aid to students with high TOEFL scores. They require a 79 on the iBT for admission; I have a 113.

I think you have a great chance of getting into WPI, but you need to ask them if they offer aid to foreign students. Not all US unis do. If they do, ask how to apply for it.
If you're interested in Massachusetts, also perhaps look at Olin College of Engineering. It's a very strong school, fast rising re: the rankings lists, and importantly to you, it's tuition free if you can get in. You do still have to pay for room and etc., but tuition free isn't bad.
The Cooper Union in NYC is like that as well, but living expenses in that city are so high that you really need to weight that as part of your decision.

Rivzey is wrong. WPI is a first tier school. It is a fairly selective school with 67% of kids getting in. It is in the top 100 national universities.
