ABS light flashing VW LT Van?
The warning light is showing. Diagnostic machine states ABS sensor fault but does not tell me which wheel is involved. If I were to a buy a new wheel sensor and then connect it in turn to each wheel, would the light cancel when I got to the wheel with the fault ? I appreciate that in theory it should..... however, has anybody actually done this ?

Hi it is possible to check them with a multi-tester with out removing them,
but you will want the workshop manual to see what the readings should be,
But yes it would be OK to remove each one at a time, the trouble with this
you may cause damage to them if you are not very care-full.
If you don't have the readings I would suggest that you get a mechanic
to do it for you.

The exciter rings on the drive shafts split on the VW.get underneath and spin the front wheels and check they are not damaged. If they are you will have to get a new CV joint or shaft.
