What kind of player will Landon Donovan be in the EPL?

One of the elite like Drogba, Fabregas, Torres or a good solid contributor like Lennon, Ballack, Rooney?

I think he will be a solid player. He wont be the star that he is in the States, but after an adjustment period I could see him starting and contributing to the teams. German football doesn't suit his style of play (which is why it was dumb to go by more than once), but he should be decent at least in the EPL.

Some of the top players in La Liga said that he would make a good player in Spain, which honestly is where I think he would succeed in Europe.

wont be that influential in the premier league . not at all . Playing amongst all the great players and the best league he would have to fight for a high place in the league . Will take sometime to get adjusted to the new league , fans etc . But could be a useful ball feeder to the strikers .Or he may also play he original position ..

Not the greatest, probably not even great. Will he even be a first team player? No one knows. MLS is a completely different league to the EPL so the standards of play are also different.

He won't be much of a star, he's good in the U.S....ONLY. The level of competition in the Minor League Soccer is far inferior to that of the EPL. Flop stars in the EPL would attain stardom in the U.S.

Just take a look at David Beckham, lol.

He's going to score in his first game against either Man City or Sunderland at home. He will be talked about being such a sensation up until his next couple games and then everyone will realize he hasn't changed. He won't produce and he will often go missing during games.

    Flop.

Neither a elite nor a solid contributor ,just an average player.

None of the above. The americans rave about him but we'll see how really good he is when he comes up against players in the hardest league in the world.

Oh and btw, Rooney is an elite player.
