Work salary, Working Tax Credit and Housing Benefit plus trying to increase income?

I take home £950 pcm wages. (13,800 gross)

My rent is £645 pcm

I get £50pw Working Tax Credit ( I cant go over £15,000 gross) and £36pw Housing Benefit

How do I increase my income via self employment without breaking any rules or leaving myself short.

I don't want to work extra via pay per hour job as I already work in a physical job and looking for something work from home. I will still keep my day job.

Can you suggest any practical ways for me to get/wean off benefits without leaving me worse off.

Or a reachable income to help me get off benefits. (20k would be a nice start...approx £6k more)

I live in a 1 bed flat that is not practical to share unfortunately...so extra income is only option.

You could try selling things on ebay. If you are familiar with any product and have access to buying that product cheap then you could try selling it. I once sold video games and made a little extra money. I bought the games for $10 and sold them for $15+. You also make as little extra with the shipping. You could also try a part time job at some fast food restaurant. Maybe you could work only saturdays??
