Anyone here marked GCSE papers and know anything about what the pay is like?

Obviously it will depend, but if anyone has personal experience they are willing to share I'd love to hear from you.

I'm asking as I would like to become a geography teacher, and do some marking as well, so would be particularly grateful to hear from anyone who has marked geography papers.

some of my teachers used to do it i dont think they got paid much
