It's an excellent garden fertilizer, as seaweed contains nutrients and trace elements, is a great soil builder and an effective compost accelerator.

Best thing to do is put it on a compost pile along with everything else. Next year you will have one of the best composts for your garden.

    Seaweed has excellent properties.

You could also chop some up, then steep it in a tub of rain water for a week or so. Then feed your plants with the water and put the chopped seaweed on the compost pile. Wish I could get a few tons of it. Magic stuff.

Seaweed is a good fertilizer for the garden, however I would check whether you can take it from the beach now.

They use seaweed on the fields in the Channel Islands so it should be OK. Perhaps they let it mature like Horse Manure.

    Yes.

It has been used for centuries in marine regions.

You can use as is or rinse to remove any salt residue.

Despite its marine enviroment, there is very little salt content.

Nope, the salt will damage your soil to a degree where nothing will grow on it
