I was just sick after a bike ride is it normal?

I use to go on a bike ride a couple of times a week, but I haven't been for 2 months so I just went on a 10 mile one, it was quite hilly, so wore me out... But when I got back I was sick a little when I had a glass of water, is this normal?

Update:

Lisa K - I recommend you stfu and stop spamming that crap on every question...

Update 2:

Ok that got deleted... Any answers?

Update 3:

It was about 2.30pm when i went out, and I just realised I hadn't eaten or drunk anything today (before the ride) could that be it xD?

You're probably dehydrated. The thing about cycling compared to other stuff is it's continuous for a longer time... Your muscles probably aren't used to that and your body tries to compensate.

you were probably dehydrated and wayy overworked. I went on The Seattle to Portland trail in July and did it in three days with my boy scout troop. i almost Collapsed when i finished. (two fifty milers and one thirty)

yes being dehydrated will do that, and when you get very thirsty, or work very hard, it will upset your stomach if you drink water to fast. Ask survivor man.
