Honest opinions of Liverpool's demise ?

Am a die hard Liverpool fan and honestly, I never thought this would happen at the start of the season. I think we'll still get that champions league spot, but we have to start playing. I think the problem is Hodgson is playing the people in the wrong positions.

Meireles - Should be next to Gerrard in CENTER midfield

Jovanovic - Should play instead of Maxi

N'Gog - Should play next to Torres

G. Johnson - Should be played as a winger.

Even as a Utd fan, I'm quite sad to see them in such a state. The PL is better with them at their best. I'll poke fun now and then, but to be honest, that could easily be us soon :/

My little brother and sister are Scousers too, so I'd like Liverpool to get better just to perk them up.

chronic underfunding of the squad - a net spend of less than 20m over 3 years on players is not going to keep a team at the top. 16 members of the squad that were a whisker away from wining the league are no longer there, Having been moved on to supply any funds at all to stregthen the squad (and even them most of it was not released) We have also had one of the best managers in Europe replaced by somebody who did just this with Blackburn too.

All the board room uncertainty has lead to a general lack of self confidence and uncertainty and this has come out in the players' performances.

well bad signings by benitez EG BABEL,AQUILANI,LUCAS,AND SO ON.......the board,chairman and owners have also unsettled the club so its not just roy hodgsons fault......i believe torres and gerrard and reina will be sold in the summer as torres no longer wants tom be there and gerrard is getting old and wants some last chance glory away from anfield and reina i believe will go to arsenal to ease there goalkeeping crisis.and that in my opinion leaves liverpool in the gutter,which is were they belong.HOPE THAT ANSWERS YOUR QUESTION.
