Christians, What is Heaven like?
And what is it about Communism that the West was so scared of during the cold war? Isn't a communist society just like a Christian Heaven? And modern North America Hell?
My reason for asking is that everyone that I have asked in the past says that it is where all is equal and people never need to ask for anything as it is provided for them.
As for gold streets, what would gold be worth in a place where you need nothing as its all provided. If no one ever dies would you not forget what grief feels like? And then with out a negative, how would you ever have anything to measure it against? How would you know you were happy?
Also the Bible wasn't written by God, it was actually constructed mainly by Constantine with the idea to make it 'sell-able' or at least written in a way where the majority would believe it for the purpose of control. And even then it has been written and re-written to stay in vogue.
Why can't Christians be content with the beauty of the natural world you already live on? My idea of life after death is becoming part of the world as dust or dirt that can feed the life of worms etc that feed the birds and so on. If I did believe in G

Heaven - the end and absence of all pain, suffering, war, disease, crime…….is the description we get of heaven in God’s word, the Bible. Worshipping God now & forever is the response of a heart that understands you were created for the purpose of returning love to God. He created you in love to be one who would make the choice of your own free will to respond to His love. He has been waiting for you to choose to spend eternity with Him, and live for Him now all the days of your life. Perhaps your fear reveals you still need to confess your sins to God, truly sorry from your heart and simply ask His forgiveness? He will, completely. Then turn from them proving your repentance is real. Trust that Jesus’ death on the cross took the punishment your sins deserved. All who do will receive eternal life and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to do what He commands. Why do you delay?

You may be asking will who elected God? Us who believe and we say it's a life time job!!
As bad as things get in the here and now. It is like Heaven in the there and then!!!!!

what i know of heaven is what God has told us in the Bible. it sounds GLORIOUS!!! it cannot be likened to anything on this earth. as a matter of fact, God says, we cannot imagine how awesome it will be; it's apparently beyond our comprehension.
