Which do you prefer the BMW F20 or Audi A3 ?

The BMW looks more...stylish, expensive, solid, aerodynamically clean, tented glass, kidney dual grill, quieter, a place for the license besides the middle of the grill, driving/fog lights, and all 3 mirrors are nicer. I don't like the Audi three ring logo in the grill. Comparison was not fair because it was not 360 deg. The A3 might gain points on the side and back. The new Chrysler 300 is a looker too. However they added unneeded chrome to the tail lights. Why don't they ask me before they build a new car?

I don't know if BMW is exceptional high maintenance. A $90k 750 iL is only $26k when 4/5 years old and with less full maint warrantee left. That's a lot of depreciation. How often the $50 oil change and $1200 brake job is needed and how much can be fixed without a long trip to a BMW dealer are considerations. I don't know if there is a provision for a breakdown far from a dealer. Must research.

It is about time they replaced the A3 as it has been around for so many years with just minor tweaks but no real updates. The new 1Series is an Fugly car but I suppose it will grow on me. Think both the Focus and Golf are better looking cars.

Both amazing; but the Audi A3 just tips it for me! Both would do just the same job though - good choices!
