Fuji S4000 vs Canon SX130?

I love the 30x optical zoom feature of the Fuji, but the Canon certainly wins in the question of size and portability. What about image quality? Battery life? Other features?

Please, these are the only two available options, for a good price, in my area, so there is no reason to tell me of other good cameras.

Update:

damn, its true... the Canon doesnt have a viewfinder... I didnt even thought about it, because I was so used to my Canon S2 IS (which has a viewfinder) that I took it for granted!

Since I own both brands I'll tell you they both make excellent gear. I've had my Fuji cameras for several years and have had excellent results from both. But, I also have two Canon dslr cameras and they're both excellent as well.

    Your choice... both are fine.

This site gives a slight edge to the Fujifilm camera.

As for image quality, the Canon gets the edge with a slightly higher resolution and a slightly larger sensor. Battery life isn't mentioned, but nowadays, battery life is quite good. The Canon's longer shutter gives you a better chance at doing light painting. But a big deal to me is the viewfinder, Fuji has a digital one, Canon has none.
