Can I have more than one Browsers on my laptop?

The Times on line web site is having problems with IE9 and they suggest that I log in using a different browser. I do not really want to do this as I would loose all my favorites.

I doubt if I can have more than one browser but If anyone knows otherwise please can I have some advice.

Thanks

    You can have a number of browsers. I have firefox and IE which I use all the time, but there are others too which will also work with IE. When you download firefox it asks if you want to copy across favourites. If you download another browser you can use both (even at the same time) so you'd still have your favourites on IE and you can use it as normal and just use firefox when needed.

    you can have many internet browsers as you wish . I recommend Google chrome , its free and i find faster the IE. There are overs like Firefox ,but i haven't much experience with using it .

    I don't think you can import favourites although i might be wrong . Take the long way and re-visit these sites and add them on your new browser to your favourites .

  • if you want to keep using IE:

    Open IE9. Press F12. At the top click Browser Mode. Select either IE 7 or IE 8

    Also, you can install any amount of different browsers that you want.

    Yes You Can Have As Many As You Want Really.. No Repercussions.

    It's Mainly just Anti-virus's That Conflict Due to their RTP(Real Time Protection)

    Id Suggest Firefox -> http://download.cnet.com/mozilla-firefox/

    Chrome -> http://download.cnet.com/Google-Chrome/3000-2356_4...

    And Heres Some More -> http://internet-browser-review.toptenreviews.com/

    Hope it helps :)

  • Yes, and you can import your favourites when you install.

    Firefox is lighter than internet explorer. I also suggest you download a free add on called add block plus, it gets rid of those annoying ads and banners for nothing.
