Should there be a Maximum Wage as well as a Minimum Wage?

This will stop greed & the money saved, would be taxed...

Update:

What is crazy is that people at the Top decide on how much they are worth, regardless of abilities or success....

It's not socialism if companies decide that nobody can get paid 10 times more than their lowest paid employee....

And if this is a bad idea, then why do we have a, Government Subsidised, Minimum Wage...

Update 2:

@the kid - Money saved by companies on the wage bill, would increase the profit for these companies, and they'd have to pay Tax on that....

In most large companies each job has a minimum and maximum salary range that is relative to the importance of the position. The industry determines what those ranges should be NOT the government.

moraly yes, logicly no, if there was a maximum wage, they would find a way to get round it whitch would mean less money back into the goverment, whitch would mean higher taxes for the lower paid people in the country.

Of course not. What a crazy idea. People would reach their peak then stop trying. Society would b even lazier than they are now!

If you want this, you should go live in Soviet Russia. Oh wait, I does no exist anymore. I guess people did not like that idea.

Definitely! Especially in the public sector and a voluntary cut off level in the private sector.

it doesn't make sense to earn a million a year if most of it is going in tax, anyway!
