if fish are pestering new fish,are they just curious or are they having a go?

just got a pair of sail fin mollies but the black and dalmatian mollies wont leave them alone!despite the new ones being bigger

    I wouldn't worry to much about it as dalmatian mollies are peaceful fish, I'm not to sure about sail fin mollies tho so I would check if there suitable tank mates, I would guess that they are. Depending on the size of the fish, there's a rule that if the fish has a big enough mouth to eat any smaller fish then generally they will if they can catch the smaller fish. Keep an eye on them to see if any of there fins get nipped.

    Most of the time they are just putting one another in their place, to see who is boss, It should stop in a day or 2. just keep an eye on them
