Who considers vegetarianism a sin?
I have heard some religious people say that it is sinful to be vegetarian because God meant us to eat meat and by not doing so we go against his wishes. How many here hold this view?

I don't believe in God so I certainly don't consider vegetarianism a sin.

NO....vegetarians are greater healthy and stay longer with the aid of fact they do no longer eat meats and all that processed stuff. there is not any dying in heaven so as quickly as we get to heaven all and sundry would be vegetarian. The nutrition ordinary that many of the international and early Bible human beings lived consisted of specially vegetables, grains, culmination, and a fish or poultry as area of the Sabbath meal; the the remainder of the time it became bread and vegetables.

People who consider vegetarianism a sin are just religious nutcases who have probably been brain washed by their religion

if someone isn't getting enough nutrients etc and its by choice that means they're abusing their body which is a sin..harming yourself in any way is a sin..I used to be about 75kg over weight because I had a junk food diet so I was sining every time I ate something unhealthy.
many vegetarians don't get enough protein so they are sining if they do it by choice.

Actually, when I became vegetarian, one of my friend's fathers said that too me. I found it so whacked out that I decided to stop going to church. I had already decided that I didn't believe in god four years before that though.
There is something really wrong with basing all of one's morals on a book that was written 2000 years ago.

I am 56 years old, and I've NEVER heard anybody say that. Whatever you're smokin', I think you ought to lay off for a while.
