Got you Arsenal Fans worried - if he goes then you can kiss goodbye to coming in top 4 this season.
Why has Arsenal become a selling club - they must now be the only club in Premiership not in debt - and get more gate money than any other club .
Yes they have got some exciting players and play good football but if they get knocked out of CL this week - what decent player would want to come and play for Arsenal.
Your first buy should be a decent Goal Keeper - in the past you always had but since Seaman you have not.
The Arsenal board are living in dreamland if they think that their supporters will put up with this for much longer - 5years without winning anything is to long and the thought of not being able to compete with other teams must be soul destroying when the season has only just started.

Scezney's a good keeper, just because he didnt cost 15 million doesnt make him any worse than over keepers
We wont get knocked the champions league this week & we can compete with other teams, constantly finishing in the top 4, getting in the champions league knock out stages & a league cup final shows that
There's a long way to go in the season yet

I agree Arsenal are no longer a force to be reckoned with yes we play good football but we don't have the class or depth in squad to make it count, we need to rebuild ASAP. 

Arsenal have spend £26 million compared to Liverpools, Chelsea's, Man u and Man City's £40m + and the players we have bought are not world class or proven like our rivals, we've bought a 17yr championship lightweight and a french player with the longest forehead in the world who got sent off in his first appearance.....

That aside we have no depth our bench against liverpool was embarrassing, Arsenal had youth players and reserve players none of which are anywhere good enough for a game of that stature....

Will we finnish in a CL position this year - NO (unless we spend a further £40m on quality players) will we finnish in the top 6 this Year....i really doubt it.

Time for a change at the emirates MONEY needs to be spent.

I can find no reference to Robin van Persie being linked with Chelsea, and to be honest I can think of no reason they would want him, they already seem to have wasted sufficient money on Torres, to buy a forward who at best will in appear in only half the seasons games due to a history of injury problems would look to me to be a total waste of money.
