The "sport" of race-walking. Is this a joke or what?

Question

Just caught some race-walking from the world athletics championships in Daegu.  They are always meant to have one foot on the ground, yet the cameras are constantly catching people out but the stewards rarely catch them (they only judge by eye).  The guy who is leading has had his feet off the ground at least 3 times now meaning he should be disqualified now but isn't.

This sport is a joke.  They might as well replace it with the egg and spoon race.  At least they could judge that correctly!

it's competitive and has people doing some sort of activity... so it's a sport. a funny sport but a sport nonetheless
