    Hello,

That is one of the problems with wireless mice. They use a laser to trace movement and this uses a good deal of power. Most of these mice use AA batteries because they last longer than AAA batteries. Either way they use them up quick. You may want to look into a wireless rechargeable mouse, when you are not using the unit just place it back on the charging dock and it will be ready the next time you need to use it. The link below goes to Amazon.com showing a mouse from Microsoft that should be just what you need and it only runs about $25.00, much cheaper than buying batteries.

You can buy lithium or titanium AAA battery for electronic devices. It is little bit more expensive but lasts from 8 to 20 times longer.Using this battery you will save a lot of money.

Try getting some rechargeable AAA batteries, Look for the ones with the highest mAh rating, like 1100 or more. Not only are they rechargeable, but will also last longer before you will need to recharge or replace them.
