How do I cook these sausages?

I have a pack of tofu hot dog sausages in a kind of boil-in-the-bag vaccuum packed package, the brand is Wheaty-the vegan way. They have no cooking instructions. I dont want to heat all of them up at once as it is only for myself, so i dont want to boil them in the bag. Is microwaving one or two of them ok or do I need to fry them? Can I even eat them cold chopped up in a salad straight from the pack?

Thanks!

Vegetarian hot dogs are usually already cooked. They only need heating, not cooking. Or not, if you prefer them cold. Opening the bag (take care how you store the ones you don't use) and heating just two of them is fine. How you heat them doesn't matter much because they aren't raw anyway.

Unless they are a kind with seasoning on the outside, I would boil some water (possibly with a stock cube to get more flavour) turn off the heat and put the sausages in there for about 5 minutes. Microwaving a sausage gives more risk of the sausage bursting.

You can eat them cold, microwave them, fry them, boil them or grill them

try microwaving on high. allow thirty seconds per dog. be sure to make slits in each one so the steam can escape and they won't explode.

    BOIL them
