Design my website for a share of the company?
Would anyone reading this be interested in (or know of a designer who may be interested in) building a website for my new business in exchange for up to 10% of the company for a period of 5 years.
Designer would need to be an accomplished web designer with knowledge of sql databases.
If you're not interested, perhaps you would have ideas how I might find a company / individual to help.

Why don't you try a website frequented by freelancers and web designers?

Or at least mention what your company is about, what's the winning there and so on. Attract somebody, throw some cash at them.

You will have great difficulties in finding a developer/designer working for "shares" of a company, unless your company is already well established, and the shares are quoted on the stock market with a substantial value.
... and if it is already quoted on the stock market, you should have plenty of cash to pay for a developer...
You MAY attract some "investors" if you can present them with past Accounts, profit & loss accounts and balance sheet, OR with a well developed business plan.
10% of zero is still 0...

Try going to Mycroburst.com, professional gfx and designers, you may need to pay the winner though.
