Hitting the post, bar and the goalkeeper saving your shots......?

Agreed. I hate when people say they were unlucky when they hit the post or bar.

It all depends how far one is away when hitting post or bar,if one is only 3 feet away and it hits post/bar that is bad finishing ,especially in front of an open goal....However if one hits the ball from outside the penalty area and it hits post/bar then that is bad luck. ..

One case of bad luck and then good luck all-in-one resulting in a goal,was when Torres did that amazing overhead kick and it hit the bar,that is BAD LUCK , but the ball rebounded straight onto Lampard and into the net that was GOOD LUCK.

Some of it's down to luck, some it's down to poor finishing, some of it's down to the keeper making fine saves and there's been plenty of them against Liverpool this season.

I said this MONTHS ago, hitting the post is not down to luck! It's bad accuracy.
