On Sky Sports yesterday the mentioned the air disaster also saying the last game they played was a 3-3 draw.

Can anyone give me a quick, simple, and easy to understand summary of this incident? I don't know much about it and it sounds terrible, sympathy to those who passed, but what exactly happened?
