Best Galway Hotels for weekend stay with entertainment?
Not too far out in the Galway sticks. Similar to the entertainment one finds at Glen-eagles in Kerry. Irish sing-song / music and dancing etc for small group of middle aged ladies for last weekend in September.

Jury's Inn in Galway city are probably some of the best rates around,although they don't have live music in the bar.
It is situated in Quay Street (on the quays lol) and at the bottom of Shop Street. If you walk a few meters up the street you will find plenty of Irish pubs that play traditional music,and plenty of clubs with different kinds of music. Everything is literally 2 minutes away!! On top of that,the Spanish Arch is just a few minutes walk away,and you pretty much bang in the city centre so you can drink as much as you want,a short distance away from the hotel.
Galway have an Arts Festival every year in July,and there are many different music acts/art to choose from!!(:
