I have four hours stop over in Kuwait airport, will do duty free sell alcohol?

Four hours stop over in Kuwait airport. I have read so many horror stories since booking with Kuwait airlines, Kuwait airport itself, I'm now getting worried. ANY advice on traveling with Kuwait airways and if I can buy ciggs and alcohol there please. Also will they accept foreign currency in shops in the airport or must I exchange a small amount of cash?

Thanks in advance.

How old are you bluemax, but no, they will not sell any alcohol. Shops will accept most currencies, and Kuwait airways aren't the best...

Hi, When you are leaving England to go to Egypt and you are at the duty free you can bring as much as you want into Egypt as it is not in Europe so it is not limited. You can then buy more on the flight, and when you arrive in Egypt you will find a duty free at the airport so should you want more you can do. This is where it gets slightly complicated. If you have landed in Egypt and have not left the airport you can but 4 litres of spirits and 600 cigarettes per adult. Should you leave the airport then you have the option to go to the duty free, this depends which airport you are landing in if it is Cairo it is in a shopping mall called City Stars, in Sharm el Sheikh it is next to the Kharmana hotel in Naama Bay (which is the tourist area) If you are going to Luxor it is behind the Emilio hotel. You only have 48hours to do this from when you have arrived so you must take your passport and either £ $ or € sometimes they accept credit card but not always so it is better to take cash. When you are leaving Egypt at all the airports you also have the option to go to Duty free and again you are better taking $ as everything will be priced in $ although you can use other currenct it will be at their exchange rate. You can only take back into the UK 1 litre of spirits and 200 cigarettes it does not matter what you take from England to the UK but this is your limit back to the UK. I hope that this is of some help to you

You are looking alcohol and cigarettes in a Muslim country???

Alcohol is illegal in Kuwait, and they are extremely strict about it. Cigarettes are permitted.
