  • Recommendations for Dual Vacuum cleaner & carpet washer or steamer.?

I need a Vacuum cleaner plus a carpet cleaner, anyone know if there is a dual machine? Price?

Delivery from U.K. to Sri Lanka as a 'gift' or present to avoid high local fees, also it needs to be from UK due to the power output the same as UK.

Looked at Amazon - nobody will deliver out here.

    Thanks in anticipation.

  • Steam Cleaner from UK but international delivery?

I've looked on ebay & Amazon UK but just can't find a steam cleaner that is good on tiles & rugs. There's plenty to be found on the afore mentioned sites but NOBODY will deliver to Sri Lanka let alone ask them to present it as a 'gift'- if not a gift I pay 100% tax.

So do you know of a UK company that can supply me with a steam cleaner for tiles and rugs from UK who are able to deliver out here?

It has to be from UK as the electricity voltage is the same.

Many thanks. Fingers crossed someone has the answer.

  • How to keep tiny fibers off mirror of SLR?

I am very careful with my new camera but no matter how careful I am small fibers find their way onto the mirror.

The camera is kept in an airtight plastic box as there is high humidity and a lot of bacteria and dust in the air, I use the camera daily and have no mechanical problems with it.

I do not change lenses as I prefer to keep the original lens on as I does all I need, Im also afraid to clean the mirror myself as I am aware of the fatal damage I could cause.

    Any advice gratefully accepted.

    Thanks, H.

  • Can UK Inland Revenue arrest my pension for unpaid tax?

I live outside the Europe and am registered as non resident for tax purposes. The IR say I owe them money, can they take it out of a very, very small monthly pension?

  • Can IR take from my bank account?

I moved from the UK to Asia nearly five years ago, I am registered as 'non resident' with the IR. I still keep a current account in the UK for a small pension to be paid into, apart from that I do not have any UK accounts, plus I left the UK totally debt free.

However, the IR is claiming I owe them less than 1,500 pounds which dispute & I refuse to pay. I am now almost disabled and unable to work claiming NOTHING from the UK whatsoever.

CAN THE IR TAKE THE MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY CONSENT? OR CLAIM IT FROM MY SMALL PENSION?

Thanks for your help. I am adamant they are not getting the money.

  • Looking for a flight, Colombo to Manchester.?

I'm going crazy trying to find a decent flight from Colombo SL to Manchester UK for the end of April 2011 into May for about three weeks (return) dates are flexible. So far the cheapest I've found is Emirates for around 673 GBP, I don't mind stopping in the middle east for two hours or so but not for hours on end. Sri Lankan airlines have 'hot seat's but I can't book these until early November.

Do you know of any flights I could take that go directly from Colombo to Manchester??

I'm grateful for any help. Thanks.
