Can UK Inland Revenue arrest my pension for unpaid tax?

I live outside the Europe and am registered as non resident for tax purposes. The IR say I owe them money, can they take it out of a very, very small monthly pension?

I am now disabled and claim NOTHING from the UK but they pursue me all the time.

Any advice please.

The information is very thin. HMRC can impose a tax code on the pension easily. They can also take legal action wherever you are.

Why could your father's tax bill be written off merely because of the fact he's retired? He made the money and knew he'd could pay tax on it. suited theory is for him to speak to HMRC and see if he can come to a pair association. Ignoring the priority won't make it bypass away.

Invite the IR to take you to court to prove their allegation. If you are in the wrong, just pay up like everyone else.
