No 'VAT' on van in the UK?!?!?
Hi. I would like to buy a second hand van to use as a normal family car, but some of them are sold as 'no VAT'. Since I am not a business owner, will I somehow have to pay VAT on such car, or can't I buy it without having a business/ being a sole trader?

Unless you are a business you will be charged VAT.. anyone can buy a van in the U.K.
