Can a group of four 16 year olds go on holiday to Spain?

Me and three friends want to go to Barcelona when we are 16 after our GCSE's because we are all expecting to get good grades and hopefully our parents permission. We want to get a plane to Barcelona, and explore the city. Then the next day we want to go to Port Aventura and then go there again the next day to have more fun and maybe see the water park. Would any hotels let a group of 16 year olds stay there. Keep in mind we aren't the average getting drunk, staying out all night, trying drugs teenagers. We just wanna see the city and go to Port Aventura

Update:

So would it be better if we went after our A-Levels when we were 18?

Generally hotels is not going to take delivery of bookings from small parties of single sex folks. Additionally you're too young to book a hotel room in Spain and would wish adults with you. You will not be your natural getting under the influence of alcohol and noisy types however the hotels do not know that except after you leave or in the course of your keep. There's additionally a satisfactory deal of hazard, specifically to younger ladies in other international locations simply as there is in the UK. Be rather less formidable and go tenting in South Wales or Cornwall. You'll have a nice time and don't have any petty restrictions.

you have to be 16 to get the flights alone so you're fine on that account but most hotels do not allow people under 18 to stay without an adult. so probably not.

Almost certainly not. Talk nicely to all your parents and see if any of them fancy a trip to Barcelona.

My daughter and 3 of her friends (just finished GCSEs) just went abroad with the mother of one of them, who was nearby in case of emergencies.

Unfortunately, you would not be able to travel independently at 16, even with parental permission. You may, however, be able to go with a tour group, but you'd have to check with a knowledgeable travel agent in your area.

until you are 18 you are classified a "minor" meaning you cannot stay in a hotel without an adult and you cannot take planes without an adult/without paying extra for an adult to supervise you

If your parents are cool with it, then that's about all you need, just as long as everything is paid for in advance (flight, hotel, etc.) Then you shouldn't have any problems :)

    Hope this helped!
