How to hide certain status updates on Facebook?
I'm already aware that you can do this by clicking on the drop down arrow next to the status and blocking it but I'm finding that even though I'm doing this they are still appearing. I've done a search for the solution but everything I've found says that doing this will be enough.
I don't want to remove individual friends but I'm getting bored of seeing how well people have done playing games or their horoscopes.
Am I doing something wrong?

you can simply block the games and horoscopes apps by opening that page and clicking unsubscribe.
By doing this you will not get any notifications or wall posts of games and horoscopes.

You should be able to block the game news feed by using that arrow and unsubscribe the game feed from there..

I know that you can block seeing game statuses...Take your mouse and go to the right of the post wave mouse over there..a lil box shows...when you pot your mouse on it ...cl box and unsubscribe to game.
