Gas unpaid bill scam?
Recently got an odd letter claiming that £100 is owed for a gas bill requesting payment within 7 days. It offered a meter check and claims to be from a Debt collector. Has anyone else recieved any strange posts like this lately?
I'm not worried just suspicious. No gas provider is mentioned.It was almost demanding bank transaction payment only. Plus something about them coming to check the meter. I suspect it's a scam but just wanted to know if anybody else has had something similar that can back up my suspicions

My mom fell for a similar scam once.
You know you have paid all your bills?
Then, tell them to stuff it.
Check your credit reports by googling:
Annual Credit Report.co / UK

No. If you're worried you could try contacting your gas supplier and ask if its real.
