excursions from the resort?

Hi gang, we are going to the DR in February for the first time and from what we have read on line from Trip Advisor the excursions can be an iffy proposition. Just wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with some of the excursions good or bad. BTW she who must be obeyed has ruled out zip lining but we are going with other people and I might be up for it if some of the other guy's wives let them go.

You don't say what part of the Dominican Republic you are going too. Most of the tourist areas have different excursions that are available. They aren't hard to find on line. Just enter the area you are going too, and excursions. Punta Cana excursions http://www.viator.com/Punta-Cana/d794-ttd. Book your excursions from your resort tour desks. Do not accept discount excursions outside of your resort, you may not be covered by insurance in the event of an injury. Anything requiring a safety harness, check out all the harness rings and clips. On a visit to Punta Cana a few years ago, I was interested in para-sailing until I saw the rigging was rusted badly.

The Dominican Republic is a beautiful place to visit. I'm sure you'll have a fantastic holiday.

If your going to Punta Cana I suggest the catamaran. Which is a boat that takes you too a island with a exclusive body of water and food for your enjoyment . While on the boat there is a lot of dancing and laughter .

I really liked the outback safari ride. And your wives will like it too.
