How does a lesbian lose her virginity?

I am a straight female, but this is the sort of question I realize I cannot determine the answer to, and I have no desire for this show up in my google history. If a lesbian woman never has sex with a man, what is the point at which she loses her virginity with a woman? For all other sexualities, oral and toys don't seem to count, so how does this work? I only ask because I suddenly care more than I probably should about the answer to this. Also, I swear I am not drunk.

This is why I dislike the concept of labelling people as virgins or not to begin with. There is no clear line as to when someone loses their virginity, because everyone defines sex as something different. Not to mention how it sometimes has sexist overtones...

Some lesbians might consider themselves to have "lost" their virginity after having oral sex, or penetration (with a toy), or "scissoring"....there is no one answer to this question.

My own feeling is that when two people bring each other to orgasm they aren't virgins anymore. Yes, you have the technical hymen issue, but "oral and toys don't seem to count" because that's a man's view of sex -- if there's no penis inside a woman, they don't think it's real.

I've had better sex with my wife than with my ex or the couple of boyfriends before I came out. So ... "REAL" sex is sex you enjoy, I think.

If you don't want to have your 'google history' show adult stuff, use a different search engine. Or go to Wikipedia and use their search feature.

Depends on how you view the term "virginity". Some people think of it as when penetration(anywhere) is performed with sexual implication or when the hymen is no longer in tact.

She has intercourse with another female. Toys count and so does oral. Fingers do too. Any penetration counts.
