You are using definitions of words like 'true' and 'obvious' so far unknown to man. You not understanding science or evolution does not make it less true.

I have some evidence with the Bible too...

Christ is nothing more than the retelling of savior myths that had existed in that part of the world for a millennium before. Mithra, Horus, Dionysus, and some others had nearly identical stories, way before the idea of Christ ever occurred.

If he was a real person who lived when he did (around 1 A.D. to 33 A.D.) no one told Saul of Tarsus (The apostle Paul). In the at least 40 years span before the book of Mark was written, then followed by the others, Paul was the only one spreading the idea of Jesus. He never mentions the virgin birth, miracles, anything he ever supposedly said, or that he ever had disciples. In fact, Paul never even saw Christ in person. He claims Jesus came to him in a vision and told him to spread the message of his crucifixion, his resurrection, and his ascension. Those are the only parts Paul ever talks about. The rest was written by other people closer to 100 A.D.

If it was such an important event, why did everyone forget for decades?

Also, one of the events that supposedly happened to place Christ in history, Herod's killing of all the Jewish male children after hearing of this new king of the Jews? Never happened. Its entirely mythical.

The notion of the Jewish high council meeting on the night Passover Eve to get rid of Jesus? So unlikely based on traditions regarding the laws of Passover that it might as well be considered impossible.

Allegorical writings were extremely popular at that time. These men never believed they were writing history, they were writing a story of morality and laws to live by using history loosely to give it credence.

Your comment illustrates that big words are all you saw. Why not take some time to study them and find out if they are valid or not. I've read the bible many times, why can't you at least learn a subject before you dismiss it? Afraid of what you might learn?

I could list numerous inconsistencies with the bible, both new and old testament.

The bible is a collection of tales written by men.

Rather than pray for me, why don't you look for tangible, verifiable evidence of a god.

You cannot prove that god exists, nor that your religion is correct. Stop pretending that faith is knowledge - and stop telling my I have to believe what you believe, just because you think it's true. Please leave me to make up my own mind - it's called free will, which I believe is a big thing in many religions. If you believe in it, allow me to have it.
