you believe wrong
when you go int security forces, you are in security forces
2. now there are two other AFSC's that security forces can cross train into, starting thier 2nd enlistment
1. K9
2. combat arms instructor
combat arms - are firing range instructors -- they run the firing ranges and teach marksmanship
but again, both are something you can only do after you have reenlisted

Specialty Shredouts
Suffix Portion of AFS to Which Related
A Military Working Dog Handler
B Combat Arms (Firing Range Instructor)
Note: New enlistees are not eligible for the A (Dog Handler) or B (Firing Range Instructor) suffixes. In order to be eligible for either of these sub-specialties, one must be in the rank of Senior Airman (E-4), or above, and agree to re-enlist.
