Why is it evolutionists twist your words round when you give scientific evidence that refutes their theories?

I have had an argument with a person that has said I am a creationist merely because I pointed out that the evolution argument does not work from a scientific point of view.

Specifically the second law of thermodynamics states that everything will get more disordered and simple over time and for organic compounds to become biological life the opposite must happen.

I am not a creationist I'm merely pointing out that the facts don't add up for either argument.

Technically speaking, the entire science of biology would not make sense without evolution.

Natural selection and living things adapting to their individual environments is very present today. Even people living in different climates have bodies that have adapted in some way or another. For instance, the Sherpas of Tibet have been found to have developed slightly larger lungs that allow them to breathe in more oxygen in their mountainous environments.
