how do i get trading details of a sole trader who died in uk three years ago?

    You don't

    A sole trader has no obligation to reveal his trading details to anyone, except his accountant,

    bank(if asked) and HMRC

    If you are an executor then you can obtain the Tax Returns from HMRC.

    Otherwise you need a compelling legal reason to persuade the Data Protection Officer to cough up the details.

    You probably don't. Their estate will have been wound up some time ago.
