Will Google Chrome work with Linux?

I don't have much to add beyond the question I've asked. I like Windows but I'm finding it a bit limiting. I use an Android based phone (i.e. Linux) and I really like Linux but I've always held back on installing it as my primary operating system. I love Gmail and I'm worried I'll lose some of the functionalities. Should I stick with Windows or make the move?

Google chrome works with anything. EXCEPT WINDOWS. windows 8 for some reason doesn't allow chrome to run with adobe flash plugin. it sucks. that means no youtube, or any video streaming, music streaming, etc. Good thing it works with Linux. #DualBootOS

i have not used linux mint, but I have used Ubuntu a LOT. and I think ubuntu uses the GNOME desktop, which might cause a incompatibility if you use that installer package on a different version of linux.

I easily got for free Adobe Falsh Player here http://bit.ly/1p3OZqK

The only program you need if you can't watch videos or if you see a black screen is Adobe Flash Player. It's a necessary plug-in that allows you to reproduce videos online.

    Bye Bye

You can run both operating systems, I do. I use Ubuntu and it's great, better than windows.
