4 month old baby passport photo, help please?

I just got my four month old babies passport photo taken and the man was so rude, he didn't care about the photo and expected me to sit him on a high backless chair unaided!! Any way because of all this he gave us the photos and my son is smiling! And I'm wondering if it will get accepted by the passport office? I'm in the uk. He was awake and looking right at the camera and smiling. Do you think they will accept it? Thanks so much,

No smart/cheeky comments please.

It is difficult to say, if an adult smiles then the picture is rejected. However a 4 month old cannot be expected to do things 'their way' therefore it will be down to the random person in the contracted agency to decide.

The man was so rude he didn't care about the photo - yes he did which is why he asked your child to sit on his own so the passport office would except it.

What did you think would happen? You would sit the chid on your knee, through in a cuddly toy and take a family portrait?
