A question on voting in Yahoo QA?

If you have an answer there do you vote for yours every time?

No not every time, only if it's the best answer. You should be honest on this site. It's like playing golf, where you should be honest with your score.

Not every time, in many categories there is 'no real answer' to the question to begin with.

In this category though when it does require genuine knowledge about how Answer's works there are some users who know more about this new layout better than me and if they have written something I didn't know then I would vote for another answer

No, unless the answer is clear-cut, and I'm absolutely sure that voting for myself will steer the asker toward the objectively best answer - for instance, hypothetically, if everybody else says "zwitterion" isn't a word, and I've found it in the Oxford English Dictionary.

No and you shouldn't. Many times there are more detailed or more expert answers than mine, so I vote for them. I don't even vote myself if the only answer, sometimes I vote NBA. If a question has been asked 10000 times, another version is not needed. At Level1 and Level2, you can understand wanting to vote for yourself to Level up, but after that more points are really not needed.

I read all answers and vote for the best one. Often it is mine, but sometimes there is a better answer that I vote for.

If the asker can't be bothered to select a best answer.
