homosexuality in animals?
A recent discussion led me to ask this question. With all the current media attention about homosexuality and how it is deemed a pervision and a sin and considered unnatural from the likes of religious and non religious people. There have been documnetd cases of around 1500 species that display homosexual behaviour from primates to gut worm. So if homosexuality is deemed unnatural, and yet it has been discovered within nature is this a natural occurrence.
the definition of natural is existing in or derived from nature; not made or caused by humankind so if homosexual behaviour does exist within nature and clearly these 1500 species have not been caused to do so by human kind, why is this so unnatural for humas to be homosexual, is this a case of religion deeming this or is it a human responce that we feel is not right. is nature and natural to be understood as this definition states or is nature to be classed as something to be expected and accepted.

People aren't animals.
No wait, they are animals.
So, I guess there's nothing wrong with it.
Because that's the way God created some animals.
Unless maybe that was learned behavior, Puppy see, puppy do.
Although, if a puppy never saw it,
it would probably still do it.

If it can't eat it, or hump it, just pee on it and walk away.

Well there are a couple ways to argue against the claim of unnatural
1. Yes. Several other animals can be gay. that seems pretty natural
2. You know what else is unnatural? Your computer. Your house. Your phone etc
3. To gay people, it feels natural like being straight feels natural to you

Cancer occurs too. It's not healthy or anyone's first choice. It occurs in a certain percentage of populations. Just because a thing occurs in nature, doesn't mean it's a good thing or that it's not a "mistake" of some kind. Bank robbery and birth defects occur too. Short people. Tall people. Tornados. It's ok to prefer or dis-prefer things in nature. Sharks will cut us in half too in the ocean. Not a great thing.
The fact is that homosexuality is repugnant to most of the population. That's part of nature too. And certainly any species that somehow devolved to only homosexuality would die out. That cannot be considered as "normal" alongside normal sexual reproduction and a species flourishing.
But it occurs a certain percentage of the time. So does heterosexuality. We must be tolerant of everyone's feelings, not just those of the minority.

your 100% correct I suggest you spread your knowledge and prove people wrong in the religion section or any other section.
