Dodgy domain speculator trying to access my GoDaddy account?
I've successfully negotiated to purchase a domain from a speculator. He's now asking for a customer number and the email associated with my GoDaddy account to do the transfer. This concerns me. Is it secure? is there another way to do this?

I'd work through a 3rd party to act as agent.
It will cost you a bit more, but hire a lawyer or use GoDaddy.
There should be no reason why the other guy needs both your customer ID and email.. ask the GoDaddy concierge ( 1st link). I've never actually transferred a domain to them, but this does sound shady.
