Is English cricket at the beginning of a decline?

Looks like the Poms are going downhill after a period of recent success. Is this going to last a few years or are there some top players coming through? Mate, Prior looks finished. Swanny coming close to the end. Root been found out? No pace bowlers to speak of. I'm crying over it mate.

They aren't coming back in this series. Probably a few years of struggling lie ahead. They are being run over by Australia and Johnson in particular and some players will retire soon.

No. They can bounce back in this series. Lot depend of Cook and Pietersen. Normally their bowling clicks when they bat well.

They have a habit of starting slowly. I won't write them off after only one match.

Interesting to see how they back up in Adelaide.

Sachin will be batting coach and lead them into a new era of Aussie domination.

the truth hurts but it must be said ...

England were never "sucessesfull" they beat a mediocre indian team and the worst australian side in recent history to get to no1....their media hyped up an above average team.... its pathetic
