How to work under Pressure better?
Hey, I love to play basketball. Everytime I am playing for fun with friends or just practicing, my shot percentage is probably like 70-80%. I rarely miss.
When it comes to game time, my shooting percentage drops to 40-50%. I guess with games, their are fans cheering you on and giving pressure.
So my question is, what tips can you offer that will help me maintain my shooting percentage in games

Sadly that's how it is with everybody! All those 3pt specialists like novak and allen can hit 90% in practice, but when they get to the game they are 40% shooters. A part if it is the stronger defense that you don't have as much during practice. My strongest advice is to just remove yourself from where you are and just shoot. DON'T THINK ABOUT IT.

Actually the massive decrease in fg % is due to the fact that lots of people (when practising) doesn't shoot at game speed. People take their time shooting in practise whilst in game things are 100% faster and you have to shoot quicker to avoid getting blocked, usually ends up missing. So next tim practising shoot at game speed. That could boost your confidence also. Hopefully improving your fg% altogether!

Pretend there is none. That is the best way to deal with perceived pressure.
